Bronwen Dixie

Chichester – Ballet and Tap

Bronwen trained at ‘Performers College’ where she graduated with ISTD teaching qualifications in Ballet, Modern and Tap. She then performed on several professional contracts before dedicating herself to teaching. Bronwen has been teaching across the South coast for over 20 years and has proudly had students performing professionally in Matilda, Billy Elliot, 42nd Street, Les Miserables, Follies, Oklahoma, Tina, Mowtown, Mamma Mia, School of Rock, Singing In the Rain, Gypsy and more.

Until the closure of the Arabesque School of Performing Arts (full-time) in 2016 after 10 years, Bronwen was involved with directing and choreographing performances, as well as preparing the students for auditions. She maintained a very high success rate of places offered with full scholarship at some of the top training establishments in London, something she continues at Arabesque to this day.

She now teaches in Chichester and Winchester and is an Associate Lecturer on the University of Chichester’s Musical Theatre and Performance degree course.
