Silver Steppers are Triumphant at Bognor Festival

On a stormy day in February, the Wednesday morning musical theatre group (also known as the Silver Steppers) assembled at the Alexandra Theatre in Bognor to take part in the 2020 Bognor Regis Dance Festival.

Their number ‘A Musical’ from the musical ‘Something Rotten’ was an entertaining performance about all the elements that go together to make a musical and included many references to famous musicals. Complete with props, quick changes and a kick line, the dancers performed brilliantly and entertained a packed audience, receiving a great cheer as it finished.

The adjudicator remarked that it was a ‘thoroughly entertaining number’ and awarded the dancers first place and the trophy.
