Friday 29th August with Ellie Duffet from Chichester Lindy Hoppers
10.00am – 11.00am Intro to Charleston
Come and unleash your inner flapper with an hour of Charleston fun. During the workshop you’ll learn a handful of the foundational 20s Charleston steps and put these into some fun mini-routines. All danced to upbeat, uplifting vintage and hot jazz tracks. .

11.30 – 12.30pm Intro to Lindy Hop
Come learn the original Swing Dance as it was done in the 1920s-40s. Lindy Hop is a partner dance with one dancer the lead and the other the follow. Traditionally a lead was the male, and follower female, these days we all dance with each other and you’ll have the chance to learn either role – no partner needed to get involved and all welcome. Danced to the wonderful swing and big band music of the 30s & 40s this is a perfect introduction to the dance – and for anyone attending the Goodwood Revival in September this is the perfect warm up!
