Absolutely, you are welcome to try any classes that appeal to see if they are right for you. With classes that have several levels, as long as you are happy with the level you are in, we’re happy.

Anything comfortable that you can move in is great. Ballet and contemporary require more movement than the others so leggings and a t-shirt are suggested and don’t worry, leotard and tights are not required!

Soft dance shoes for ballet and contemporary (or bare feet). Soft shoes or trainers for musical theatre and tap shoes for tap.If you don’t have these shoes it is best to try ballet in socks or tap in normal shoes to see if you like the class. Once you have decided which classes you would like to attend you can purchase the appropriate shoes. When dancing online please choose shoes appropriate for the surface you are dancing on.

We suggest you bring trainers for the warm up and use soft dance shoes or bare feet for the rest of the class.

Stage Door in Southsea and Showsteppers in Chichester both stock a wide variety of shoes and dancewear. Please check their opening times before you go.
